Five Past Five – this original abstract acrylic painting started its life as a landscape, but as I played with the paint and experimented, the colours and shapes changed quite naturally into a river bursting its banks carrying with it some debris. Maybe you see something else within my painting? – I would love to know. This is why I love painting abstractly because many people can see many different things within the one painting. I love the texture in this painting and all the layers, which gives it a unique feel.
I have applied one hand applied coat of varnish for protection.
As with all my paintings, it comes complete with a Certificate of Authentication signed by me, the artist.
